Mike Blum, Owner and Operations Director, has extensive security and firearms expertise garnered while working in both government and business sectors. His experience and expertise have been combined into reality-based training available to the government, industry, law enforcement and the civilian sector.
Mike was a Marine Corps Intelligence officer of 23 years. His last assignment was with Marine Corps Intelligence, Global Threats Branch, where he deployed to both Afghanistan and Iraq as the Marine Corps specialist in foreign weapons systems. Additionally, he conducted force protection, firearms, and security training for Marine Corps intelligence and Office of Naval Intelligence personnel.
After retirement from the Marine Corps, Mike joined a security assessment firm as the Operations and Training Vice President. As part of his duties with them, Mike prepared and presented security briefs for senior level Department of Defense (DOD) and corporate clients as well as conducting Risk and Vulnerability Assessments for corporate clients nationwide.
He independently created comprehensive High Risk Environment training packages for DOD and corporate clients as well as specialized training for military and law enforcement tactical teams and Sheriff Emergency Response Teams (SERT). The expertise and experience gained from these and other assignments are brought to bear on his reality-based training courses for government, law enforcement, industry, and civilian communities.
